Cancer treatment innovator coming to Grand Rapids, expected to create 200 jobs in $30 million investment

A company that specializes in innovative cancer treatment is locating its headquarters in Grand Rapids, expecting to invest more than $30 million and bring more than 200 jobs to the area.

Bold Advanced Medical Future Health (BAMF) is expected to lease some 35,000 square feet in the new Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building at the Michigan State University Grand Rapids Innovation Park.

BAMF will produce novel radiopharmaceuticals at the site, allowing cancer patients to be both diagnosed and treated at the same time at a theranostics clinic in the building. The location will be home to a dual cyclotron radiopharmacy, described as a first-of-its kind feature.
